Recently actor Ranveer Singh made headlines again, and netizens were shocked to see him posting a nude picture in a magazine. Though this actor always makes news with his quirky avatars, he welcomed legal trouble this time. Recently Ranveer dressed as little as possible and imitated Burt Reynolds' well-known image for the pictures.

According to NDTV, an NGO and a woman lawyer filed a complaint against him after he posted his picture without clothes on Instagram. The shimmering grievance was lodged under sections 292, 293, and 509. 292 is for selling or circulating obscene books, 293 for selling questionable objects to young individuals, and 509 for insulting the modesty of any woman. The NGO claimed that Ranveer Singh had spoiled the sentiment of women in general, and his photoshoot was nothing but an insult to women's modesty. Akhilesh Choubey, an advocate, appointed for the complaint, said that teenagers who use their phones for homework make up most of the actor's fanbase. Therefore, they could have been negatively affected psychologically by Ranveer's naked picture and may have received the wrong impression. Due to the protests, the Mumbai Police filed a case; an arrest will now likely be made soon. He also warned the actor to delete the post; otherwise, there would be consequences. 

But the reaction was mixed among fans and followers of the actor. A day after, his picture appeared in the Paper magazine, and he shared this controversial image on his Instagram profile. Some of his fans praised him for his bold step, and some left no gravel unturned to criticize him for this indecency. Even actresses like Alia Bhatt came to support him openly, saying it was impossible for her to tolerate negative remarks against him. Designer Masaba Gupta also remarked the photoshoot was the best cover shot in this country. She also called it brave and unapologetic.

As the photoshoot has been a hot debate on social media, there is much apprehension about his latest upcoming movies. He will be seen in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus with two actresses, Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. In addition, he has another big-budget film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, with Alia Bhatt, which is anticipated to release in 2023. 

Myntra altered and published Ranveer Singh's naked photo from his most recent magazine cover session in a new post. On the Instagram platform, Myntra captioned "fixed it" by covering Ranveer's body with a bedsheet printed shirt and red yoga pants. Both clothes are from Myntra's collection.
