Sanjay Dutt has been very upfront about his drug use, which most celebrities never confess. Sanjay revealed on Simi Garewal's chat show a few years back when he started using drugs and how he became addicted to them.

Another famous actor, Fardeen, was a heroin addict captured in 2001 by Mumbai police. The actor was discovered with cocaine in his possession. He is the son of famous actor Feroz Khan and has appeared in films such as Fida, No Entry, and Heyy Babyy. Before entirely vanishing from the public eye, he had a brief Bollywood career and underwent detoxification treatment to overcome the addiction.

You may be overwhelmed to find that 7.5 lakh died worldwide in 2017 due to drug overdose. In recent years, there has been a surge in the use of drugs like cannabis, cocaine, heroin, tramadol, and others. According to a report from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, 75% of drug addicts tried to eliminate the addiction but didn't receive any treatment.

If the administration does not control the drug mafias, the future of the youth is in no safe hands. This is the reason for the Karnataka police being so brutal, as many drug cases are deeply rooted in the history of Bollywood stars' association with drug peddlers; it's time to make the country free from the shackles of drugs.
